Religious organizations, agencies extend congratulations to MOHA’s new Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng

Religious organizations, state agencies and departments have paid visits and met with new Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) Vũ Chiến Thắng at the headquarters of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA).
A delegation from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) led by Most Venerable Thích Thanh Nhiễu, Vice President of the VBS’s Executive Council visited and met with the new deputy minister on August 25.
During the visiting reception, Most Venerable Thích Thanh Nhiễu congratulated Mr. Vũ Chiến Thắng on being promoted as the MOHA’s new Deputy Minister and expressed hope that in the new post, the new deputy minister would further accompany with religious organizations in general and the VBS in particular, as well as create favorable conditions for religions to operate in accordance with the law and get involved in the cause for national construction and defense.
On the same day, delegations from the Vietnam Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) and Faculty of Social Security under People's Security Academy also extended congratulations to the new Deputy Minister of the MOHA.

Earlier, delegations from the Committee for Religious Affairs in Hanoi, the Department of Civil Defense under the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and the Vietcombank branch also visited and extended congratulations new Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng on August 24.

On August 21, the Vietnam Prime Minister signed Decision No. 1288/QD-TTg to appoint Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Chiến Thắng as Deputy Minister of the Ministry of MOHA.
