The Government Committee for Religious Affairs held on November 17 a meeting for appraisal of a book on cultural values of Caodaism.
The meeting was presided by Assoc. Prof. Nguyễn Thanh Xuân from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics cum Head of the Appraisal Council.
The publication on the cultural values of Caodaism is part of the Project 219 approved by the Prime Minister. The book aims to clarify and promote cultural values of Caodaism in current situation and includes contents of overviews of Caodaism, concepts related to culture and cultural values, ethics and aesthetics of Caodaism and impacts on the ways of life of people in the South region.
During the event, members of the Appraisal Council highly appreciated the editing board of the publication on cultural values of Caodaism. The book provides valuable references for the information and propaganda work on belief and religion and meets requirements of Project 219.
The publication was highly recommended by all members of the Appraisal Council for publication after applying for a publishing license.
