Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Dương Ngọc Tấn hosted a reception on February 5 for a visiting delegation from the Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Vietnam North, ahead of Traditional New Year of the Dog.
The Caodai delegation was led by Priest Nguyễn Bá Phòng, Head of the management board of Tay Ninh Caodai Parish in Hai Phong City.
On behalf of the delegation, Priest Nguyễn Bá Phòng extended Tet greetings to all GCRA’s officials and staff and took the chance to brief the host affairs of the Tay Ninh Caodai sect in Vietnam North, including religious and social activities.
Speaking with the guests, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn highlighted results of social and religious activities by parishes of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church over the past year and call on the Caodai dignitaries to continue encouraging and motivating followers of the Caodai sect to uphold fine traditions and make practical contributions to socio-economic development in localities.
The GCRA leader also took the chance to extend best wishes to all followers of Tay Ninh Caodai Church in the lunar New Year of the Dog.
