The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on June 24 a national conference for reviewing performances of the state sector on belief and religion in the first six months of 2022 in Dong Nai province.
At the conference
The event was co-chaired by Minister of Home Affairs Phạm Thị Thanh Trà, Deputy Minister of Home Affai Vũ Chiến Thắng, Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Hoài Bắc and Chairman of the People’s Committee in Dong Nai province Cao Tiến Dũng, and attended by 242 central and local official tasked with the state administration on belief and religion in the country.

The national event discussed the draft report on the state administration on belief and religion in the country in the first six months 2022 that pointed out disadvantages on policies and profession in the implementation of the state administration on belief and religion in localities and proposed practical solutions to the Ministry of Home Affairs and concerning agencies.

Addressing at the national conference, Minister of Home Affairs Phạm Thị Thanh Trà highly appreciated working results of the state sector on belief and religion recorded in the first six months of 2022. The minister urged the state sector to complete the draft decree replacing Decree No. 162/2017/ND-CP for submittion to the Prime Minister, enhance the efficiency of the communication work of state policies and laws on belief and religion, and consolidate the organizational apparatus of the state administration on belief and religion.
