The Ministry for Home Affairs held on March 10 a meeting on preparation works for the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils in religious communities.
The event chaired by Deputy Minister of Home Affairs in charge of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Chiến Thắng was attended by representatives from the central Fatherland Front Committee, the Commission for Mass Mobilization and the Public Securities Ministry, heads of the GCRA and its departments, and officials of several concerning units of home affairs ministry.
During the event, officials of the government religious committee informed preparations and introduction of personnel of religions nominated in the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for 2021-2026 tenure.
At the conference
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng asked concerning agencies and ministries to closely coordinate and well implement measures for ensuring the successful election, including a strict implementation of measures for the Covid-19 epidemic prevention during the election, and strengthen the communicating work on the home affairs ministry’s web portals and magazines.
