Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng on October 6 visited and extended congratulations to Hanoi Archdiocese on occasion of the inauguration of its new pastoral center.
The Deputy Minister accompanied by Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Vũ Hoài Bắc was welcomed by Archbishop Joseph Vũ Văn Thiên of Hanoi Archdiocese.

Visiting the new pastoral centre of Hanoi Archdiocese, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng expressed hope that the new pastoral centre would contribute to meet the legitimate needs of lay Catholics in the Archdiocese.
Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng also kindly requested the Archbishop and other dignitaries in the Archdiocese to continue encouraging parishioners to well observe the State laws and proactively join movements, contributing to the development of Hanoi city.

The pastoral centre of Hanoi Archdiocese was built in 2020. It consists of 2 basements and 10 floors including a main hall, classrooms, chapel, library, and other facilities.
