An interdisciplinary delegation led by Chief of the The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA)’s Dương Văn Khá paid a working visit to two provinces of Lao Cai and Lai Chau from October 14-18.
During the visit, delegation had working meetings with provincial authorities of Lao Cai and Lai Chau on the implemention of a plan for approving the establishment of local Protestant churches in the two localities.
Speaking at meetings, Chief of the Committee Office Dương Văn Khá praised coordination by provincial authorities in implementing the state administration on Protestant affairs in general and the facilitation for establishing of local Protestant churches in particular.
In addition, the delegation also visited two Protestant groups in Lai Chau province and met with their representatives to get update information, so as to propose effective guidelines for Protestant practices conducted in accordance with state laws.
