Bishop of Hai Phong Diocese Giuse Vũ Văn Thiên led a delegation to visit on February 10 the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) on occasion of the upcoming traditional New Year 2018 (Tet festival).
Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn welcomed the delegation.
During the visiting reception, while extending traditional New Year greetings to officials and staffers of the GCRA, Bishop Giuse Vũ Văn Thiên took the chance to thank the government committee for facilitating Catholic affairs of the diocese over the past years.
Speaking with the guests, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn thanked the Catholic delegation for their visit and highlighted practical contributions made by followers and dignitaries of the diocese to the achievements of the state governance on religious affairs in 2017.
