Guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Tiến Trọng.

The 3^rd congress of the Vietnam Assemblies of God reviewed affairs of the church in the last term, set out the working plan for the next term, approved the Charter and elected personnel to the church’s executive committee for the next term, as well as held the national spiritual refreshment program.

Addressing the event, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tiến Trọng spoke highly of practical contributions for the Covid-19 prevention work made by members of the Vietnam Assemblies of God, and highlighted that the church has called on members to make donations to the Covid-19 vaccine fund, present medical equipment and essential supplies to frontline forces against the pandemic, and send thousands of sets of supports to people badly affected by the epidemic in localities.

The vice chairman expressed hope that the Vietnam Assemblies of God will continue promoting fine traditions and making further practical contributions for the socio-economic development in the country.

As reported, the Vietnam Assemblies of God received the recognition as a religious organization in 2019.
