The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) and Vietnam Women Union reviewed collaboration activities 2016 and mapped out coordinating plans for 2017 at a meeting held on March 31.
The meeting was co-chaired by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn and Vice President of Vietnam Women Union Bùi Thị Hòa.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed cooperation activities in 2016 including the dissemination of laws on belief and religion and the successful organization of the forum on environmental protection and rural development for religious women in Red River Delta.
As agreed at the meeting, coordination plans for 2017 between the GCRA and VWU will include the organization of workshops on the state governance on religious affairs for the provincial and district-level women members and review of five-year implementation of the cooperation program between the GCRA and the VWU for the 2013-2017 period.
