On July 10, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held a conference to review its task performance in the provinces, cities of Southern Vietnam in the first six months and map out the working plan for the last months of the year.
Attending the conference held in Ho Chi Minh city were Vice Chairmen of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn and Trần Tấn Hùng, representatives from the GCRA’s departments, and the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs of all provinces and cities in the Central Coast, Central Highlands and Southwest regions.
At the meeting, Chief of the GCRA’s Office Dương Văn Khá briefed about the religious situation, results of the first six-month work in 2015 and the working plan for the last six months for the State management on religion. The conference report also highlighted that over the past six months, religious activities in the regions have been conducted normally and on frequent basis, religious harmony has been promoted, contributing to the national unity bloc.
