Government religious committee reviews academic research 2021, outlines plans for 2022

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA)’s Scientific Council held on December 29 a meeting for reviewing its activities 2021 and outlining working plans 2022.

The meeting was presided by Vice Chairwoman of the GCRA Trần Thị Minh Nga, and attended by members of the council, and representatives of the GCRA’s departments and divisions.

As reported, in 2021, the GCRA has carried out 19 scientific projects, with the completion of 12 projects launched in 2020 and seven projects approved in 2021.

Due to the complicated development of the Covid-19 pandemic, several projects have been delayed, and others had to be adjusted to match the pandemic situation.

In 2022, the scientific council would continue to undertake tasks in line with the strategy for science and technology development of the home affairs sector for the period 2020-2025, the Resolution 25 of the 13th Party Central Committee on religious affairs in the new situation, and several contents relating belief & religion mentioned in documents of the 13th National Party Congress.
