Government Religious Committee representative congratulates tradition day of the Vietnam People’s Army

A delegation from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Mr. Bùi Hữu Dược, Director of Department of Buddhist Affairs paid a visit to 202 Tank Brigade in Ninh Binh province on Dec. 18 on occasion of 70th anniversary of People's Army of Vietnam.

At the visit, Mr. Bùi Hữu Dược extended best wishes to officers and soldiers in the Brigade and expressed his hope that the Brigade will make further contributions in ensuring national security and peaceful life of the people

Colonel Trương Phạm Ngọc, Chief of 202 Tank Brigade thanked the GCRA representative for their visit and congratulation to officers and soldiers in the brigade.

The 202 Tank Brigade was formerly known as the 202 Tank Regiment (1st Army Corps) and the first unit of the People's Army of Vietnam. It was established on October 5, 1959. Over the past 50 years building and development, the regiment was awarded twice the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State.
