Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Tiến Trọng received on January 26 several Christian delegations ahead of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2024.
Delegation from Vietnam United Gospel Outreach Church pays Tet visit to GCRA
The delegations were headed by Pastor Phạm Đình Nhẫn, President of the Vietnam United Gospel Outreach Church; Superior General Maria Đặng Thị Ánh Tin of the Congregation of Dominican Sisters in Thai Binh province and Mr. Hoàng Văn Tùng, Head of the Coordination Committee of the Vietnam Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
During the visits, the Christian dignitaries extended Tet wishes to officials and employees of the GCRA, and took the chance to thank the GCRA for favorable conditions extended to the Christian organizations over the past years. They also shared with the host their religious activities in 2023.

During the welcoming receptions, Vice Chairman Nguyến Tiến Trọng extended Tet wishes of happiness, prosperity and success to the dignitaries and members of the Christian communities, and spoke highly of their practical contributions in fields of health, education and charities for the sustainable development of the country.
Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tiến Trọng expressed hope that Christian leaders would continue encouraging its members to well observe the law, and promote fine values and resource of religions, contributing to the cause of the national construction and defense.
