On occasion of the 71st anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Solders’ Day (July 27), Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Chiến Thắng led a delegation on July 20 to pay tributes to fallen war heroes in Nghe An province.
During its visit to Nghe An, the GCRA delegation has offered incense at President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site and laid a wreath at Viet-Lao International Memorial and Cemetery in Anh Son district.

The delegation has also attended a requiem for heroic martyrs at the Viet-Lao martyrs’ cemetery held on July 20-21 by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s chapter in Nghe An province and Anh Son district authorities. The Buddhist requiem also saw the participation of President of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Trần Thanh Mẫn, Vice Chairman of Nghe An provincial People’s Committee Lê Minh Thông and large numbers of local officials and Buddhist dignitaries.
During the requiem, the organizing board presented 20 gift sets to the families of wounded soldiers and policy beneficiaries.
