Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Ánh Chức paid on January 25 visits to religious organizations in An Giang province, ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2024.
Government religious committee extends Tet visit to Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhism
The vice chairman visited and met with dignitaries the Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhism, the Representative Committee of Islamic Community and the Central Executive Committee of Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhist Association in the province.
While extending warm New Year greetings to religious leaders and members of religious organizations in the province, the GCRA official spoke highly of social and charitable contributions made by religious organizations over the past year. He expressed hope that religious organizations would further promote fine traditions of unity and proactively engage in patriotic movements and socio-economic development in the locality.
Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức also had exchanges with the hosts on the religious policies in Vietnam and Decree 95 dated December 29, 2023 detailing articles and measures to implement the law on belief & religion 2016.
