A delegation from the GCRA led by Deputy Head of the administrative section under the GCRA’s office Nguyễn Phước Ninh visited and laid a wreath for extending last homage to Sister Mary Trần Thị Kim Quyên at her funeral held on November 29 in Ho Chi Minh city.
Sister Mary Trần Thị Kim Quyên is a former member of the Vietnam Council of Major Superiors of Religious and former Superior of the Mary's family congregation.
The Sister passed away on November 26 at the age of 62 during a charity program for supporting flood victims of the hurricane Usagi in Con Dao islands.
She has received a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister and numbers of other noble titles and medals for her contributions to the country.
The coffin of Sister Trần Thị Kim Quyên was cremated at Binh Hung Hoa cemetery after her memorial service on November 30 in Phu Trung Catholic Church.
