Government Religious Committee official receives Spiritual Council of the Vietnam Baha’i Community

Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Ánh Chức on May 31 hosted a reception for the visiting delegation from the Spiritual Council of the Vietnam Baha’i Community led by General Secretary of the Council Nguyễn Đình Thỏa.

Joining the reception included Deputy Director of the GCRA’s Beliefs and Other Religions Department Nguyễn Hồng Điệp.

Speaking with the host, General Secretary Nguyễn Đình Thỏa briefed the host the Baha’i spiritual council’s activities over the past years and had exchanges on goals and the action program of the Universal House of Justice of the Baha’i faith for the next 25 years, from 2021 to 2046.

At the reception, Vice Chairman of the GCRA Nguyễn Ánh Chức spoke highly of practical contributions made by the Vietnam Baha’i community in the country. He also extended congratulations to the Baha’i Vietnam community for the successfully organization of the Baha’i Faith’s national congress for the 2022-2023 tenure.

As reported, the 15th congress of the Vietnam Baha’i Community successfully organized in April and elected the 9-member Spiritual Council of the Baha’i Vietnam Community for the 2022-2023 tenure.
