A delegation of Home Affairs Ministry’s Working Group led by Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Ánh Chức paid a visit on October 12 to the Spiritual Council of the Baha’i Vietnam Community.

The GCRA Vice Chairman was welcomed by General Secretary of the Baha’i spiritual council Trần Đình Thỏa.

During the welcoming reception, General Secretary Trần Đình Thỏa informed the guest the Covid-19 prevention work and religious practices of the Baha’i community over the past years, specifically in localities with complicated developments of the Covid-19 outbreak such as Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh cities.

Accordingly, during the pandemic, the Baha’i spiritual council has promoted online religious masses in order to meet followers' spiritual need and strictly implement the epidemic prevention measures, contributing to limit the number of Covid-19 infections in the Baha'i community.

Speaking with the leader of the Baha’i spiritual council, GCRA Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức sent encouragements to those infected with Covid-19 in the Baha'i community and highly appreciated practical contributions made by the community for the Covid-19 prevent work in the country over the past time.

Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức also expressed hope that the Baha’i spiritual council would continue propagating and mobilizing followers to implement the Covid-19 prevention measures according to guidelines of the Government, the health sector and local authorities, and promoting online preaching for preventing risks of the epidemic spread in the country.
