Government religious committee official extends Christmas wishes to local Catholics

Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Ánh Chức paid on December 15-16 Christmas visits to Catholic followers in provinces of Highland Central.  

During the welcoming reception hosted by Bishop Vincent Nguyễn Văn Bản of Ban Me Thuot diocese, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức extended merry Christmas to the Bishop, as well as Catholic dignitaries and members of the diocese.

The Vice Chairman also informed the current religious life in Vietnam and highly appreciated practical contributions made by local Catholics for socio-economic development in the province.

Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức expressed hope that with his prestige and role, the Bishop would continue encouraging dignitaries and parishioners in the diocese to actively participate in social programs and movements launched for boosting sustainable development in the locality.

On the occasion, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức also visited to the office of Kon Tum diocese and the Miracles of Jesus Christ Congregation in Kon Tum province for extending merry Christmas to Bishop Alonso Nguyễn Hùng Vị of Kon Tum, sisters of the Congregation, and dignitaries and lay Catholics of Kon Tum diocese.
