Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Ánh Chức on May 26 attended and extended congratulations to the 6th congress of Ban Chinh (Correction-Path) Caodai Church for the 2022 – 2027 taking place in Ben Tre city.

Speaking at the congress, Vice Chairman of the GCRA Nguyễn Ánh Chức spoke highly of practical contribution made by the Ban Chinh Caodai Church over the past five years.
The Vice Chairman expressed hope that the Caodai Church’s Executive Committee in the new term would continue guiding the Church community to actively engage in patriotic movements and social programs, as well as join hands with other religions to the build great unity block, contributing to sustainable development in the country.
As reported at the event, over the past five years, the Ban Chinh Caodai Church has actively engaged patriotic movements and social programs launched by local authorities. In addition, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Caodai followers of the Church have spent over 27 billion VND on support supplies sent to 224,600 affected people and services of over 42,500 free working days.
The congress mapped out working plans for the sixth term and elected four members to the 6th Secretary Committee for the 2022-2027 tenure.
