Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Ánh Chức on August 30 attended and extended congratulations to the 6th congress of Ban Chinh (Correction-Path) Caodai Church for the 2022 – 2027 taking place at Ben Tre Holy See in Ben Tre city.

The Correction – Path Caodai Church currently has 200 parishes with over 700,000 followers and thousands of dignitaries residing in 24 provinces and cities across the country.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức spoke highly of practical contributions made by the Ban Chinh Caodai Church over the past five years.
The official expressed hope that the Caodai Church would continue promoting fine traditions of the religion, and accompanying with the nation under the Church’s motto “For the country’s glory and religion’s enlightenment”, contributing to sustainable development in the country.
The congress reviewed results of religious practices during the previous term, mapped out working plans for the sixth term, and elected 15 members to the Standing Committee of the Caodai Church for the 2022-2027 tenure, with Bishop Thượng Beo Thanh nominated as Chairman of the Committee. The event also approved the amended Charter of the Caodai Church.
