At the meeting reception, the two sides exchanged several issues on religious training, studying and pilgrimage abroad, and cooperation activities with other countries. The Representative Committee also expressed hope that the Central and local authorities would continue creating favorable conditions for religious affairs of the Islamic Community’s Committee in the coming time.

Later in the same day, the delegation also attended a meeting on practices of Islam with concerning departments and agencies in An Giang province.
