Government religious committee marks War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27)

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) had on July 25 a meeting with cadres and officials of the GCRA who are wounded soldiers or martyrs’ relatives on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

At the meeting

Attending the event included Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Hoài Bắc, Vice Chairmen of the GCRA Nguyễn Ánh Chức and Nguyễn Tiến Trọng, and representatives from the GCRA’s officials who are relatives of policy beneficiary families.

The event reviewed the history and traditions of Invalids and Martyrs' Day for paying tribute to merits of war invalids and martyrs who sacrificed in the fight for national independence and defense, contributing to educate the GCRA’s officials on tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source”.

Presenting gifts to relatives of policy beneficiary families

* On the same day, a delegation from the GCRA led by Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức and joint by members of the GCRA’s Youth Union visited and offered incense to martyrs at Nhon Martyrs cemetery in Bac Tu Liem district’s Tay Tuu ward.
