Government religious committee leader’s working visit to Russia and Hungary

A delegation from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Chairman of Vũ Chiến Thắng paid a working visit to Russia and Hungary from November 5-12.

In Moscow, the GCRA delegation met with Deputy Head of Russian Presidential Directorate for Domestic Policy Belousov Mikhail Vladimirovich, Vice Chairman of the Public Chamber Commission on Interethnic Relations Grygoryev Maksim Sergeevich, Deputy Minister of Justice Plokhoy O.A and Deputy Governor of Saint Petersburg city Bondarenko N.L. The GCRA also visited the Embassy of Vietnam in Russia and worshipping places of the Vietnamese community in Moscow.

During the visit to Hungary from November 10-12, the delegation met with the Embassy of Vietnam in Hungary, the Vietnamese community, the Vietnamese Buddhist association and some worshipping places in Budapest.

During the visits, Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng exchanged with the hosts guidelines and policies of the Party and State of Vietnam on belief and religion. He also affirmed that the State of Vietnam has a consistent policy for respecting and safeguarding the religious freedom to all people.
