Mr. Phạm Dũng, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Department cum Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) visited Cao Bang province on December 15 – 16.
In his visit to Cao Bang, Chairman Phạm Dũng attended the inauguration ceremony of Phat Tich Truc Lam Ban Gioc pagoda in Dam Thuy commune of Trung Khanh district, accompanied President Trương Tấn Sang on his visit to priest Trần Đức Hạnh and Catholics in Thanh Son parish under Lang Son diocese, and presented gift boxes to poor people on Dec 15. He also attended the 70th anniversary of the People's Army of Vietnam, 25th anniversary of all people’s National Defense Day, and the ceremony announcing the recognition Tran Hung Dao forest as a special national historical relic.
On Dec 16, he visited and offered incense at King Le Temple worshipping King Le Thai To in Hoa An district which is about 11 kilometers away from Cao Bang municipal.
