President of the Lao Front for National Construction Saysomphone Phomvihane has presented the Freedom Order (Issara) to leaders of some Vietnamese agencies in recognition of their contributions to enhancing the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
The order of honour was handed over to officials of the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilisation Commission, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), the Government Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs and the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) at a ceremony in Hanoi on September 4.
In particular, President of the VFF Trần Thanh Mẫn received the first class Freedom Order presented by President of the Lao Front for National Construction Saysomphone Phomvihane on behalf of the Lao President and Prime Minister.
Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Chiến Thắng receives the second class Freedom Order
Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Chiến Thắng, Vice President of the VFF Hầu A Lềnh and Head of the Government Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs Đỗ Văn Chiến was awarded with the second-class Freedom Order.
Vice Chairmen of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà, Dương Ngọc Tấn and Trần Tấn Hùng and leaders from the Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization and the VFF were presented with the third class Freedom Order.
