Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Hoài Bắc paid on November 21 a visit to Most Venerable Thích Quảng Xả, Vice President of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Council cum Chairman of the VBS’s Executive Committee in Kon Tum province in Hue Chieu pagoda, Kon Tum city.

Accompanying the GCRA leader included Heads from the GCRA’s department and the provincial Home Affairs Department.
During the visit, while extending best wishes to Most Venerable Thích Quảng Xả and Buddhist dignitaries of the VBS’s Executive Committee in Kon Tum, Chairman Vũ Hoài Bắc highly appreciated practical contributions made by local Buddhist dignitaries in Buddhist affairs. He expressed hope that they would continue guiding Buddhist monks, nuns and lay followers in promoting fine traditions of Buddhism and practicing religion according to the State laws, contributing to sustainable development in the country.
Most Venerable Thích Quảng Xả took the chance to thank the GCRA leader and expressed hope that the GCRA would continue creating favorable conditions for Buddhist affairs in the locality in the coming time.
