Government Religious Committee leader receives Vice Chairman of Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics

On August 10, at the headquarters of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA), Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn met with Vice President of the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics (CSVC) Phan Khắc Từ.
At the visiting reception, Priest Phan Khắc Từ congratulated the GCRA on the successful organization of 60th founding anniversary of the GCRA and the State sector on religious affairs (August 2nd, 1955- August 2nd, 2015). He also praised the GCRA’s roles in creating conditions for Catholic Church and its followers to conduct social and religious activities over the past years.
On behalf of the GCRA, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn thanked Priest Phan Khắc Từ for his visit and congratulations on occasion of 60th anniversary of the GCRA and the state sector on religious affairs. He also highly valued the contributions of the CSCV - a member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in promoting religious unity and encouraging followers to observe the state laws and religious regulations.
