Government Religious Committee leader receives prestigious people from Ninh Thuan province

On August 13, at the headquarters of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA), Vice Chairman of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà received a delegation of prestigious people of ethnic minorities from Ninh Thuan province.
The delegation consists of 40 delegates in which 30 members are prestigious people in Ninh Thuan province, led by Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Ethnic Affairs Lê Thanh Hùng.
At the reception, Mr. Lê Thanh Hùng briefed the GCRA on the overall situation of ethnic minorities and current religious situation in the locality over the past time. He also shared that local religious dignitaries and followers always well implement Party’ guidelines and policies and State’s laws, and actively participate in local movements as well as contribute to the social-economic development in the province.
On behalf of the GCRA, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà highly valued the contributions of Ninh Thuan provincial authorities and prestigious people in mobilizing and encouraging ethnic people to develop local economy, increase families incomes…
Currently, Ninh Thuan province is home to about 248,000 followers of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Caodaism, Baha’i, Bàlamôn and Islam.
