Chief Executive Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Bùi Thanh Hà hosted a reception on July 7 for the delegation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) led by Bishop Counselor of the Church’s Presiding Bishopric Dean Davies.
Joining the reception included Chairman of the Vietnam LDS Church’s Representative Committee Hoàng Văn Tùng and representatives of the GCRA’s Department of Protestant Affairs.
Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà praised the Vietnam LDS Church’s Representative Committee for its social activities in the past two years, and asked the LDS Church to render further supports to the LDS’s Representative Committee and followers in Vietnam.
