Director of Department of Protestant Affairs Hoàng Thị Thảo on Jan 29 received a delegation of pastors from the Republic of Korea headed by pastor Tae Won Su.
Joining the reception were officials from the Department of Protestant Affairs and the Office of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA).
At the reception meeting, pastor Tae Won Su shared about religious activities of Korean Protestants in Vietnam, especially in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and discussed on administrative procedures attached to this issue.
Director Hoàng Thị Thảo exchanged on the issues of the guests’ concern as well as informed that building a new law on belief and religion is underway in Vietnam.
Pastor Tae Won Su also took the chance to thank the GCRA for favorable conditions for religious activities of Korean Protestants in Vietnam over the past years.
