From August 9 -12, Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA)Vũ Chiến Thắng visited and met with the provincial People’s Committee, the Da Lat diocese office Cathedral and the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee in Lam Dong province.
At the headquarters of the provincial People’s Committee, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Phan Văn Đa exchanged with the GCRA’s on religious affairs in the province over the past years.
The GCRA’s delegation visits Da Lat diocese office Cathedral
During the visiting receptions at the Da Lat diocese office Cathedral and the provincial VBS’s Executive Committee, Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng hailed practical contributions to social charities by followers of Catholicism and Buddhism in the province. He also expressed hope that the Catholic and Buddhist dignitaries would further encourage followers to uphold fine traditions and actively join in patriotic movements for socio-economic development in the locality.

The GCRA top official had also an exchange meeting with the provincial committee for religious affairs and visited some Buddhist dignitaries in the province on occasion of the summer retreat and the Buddhist Parents Day 2018.
