On occasion of Easter celebration 2016, Chief Executive Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Bùi Thanh Hà led a delegation to visit the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (North) on March 23.
Pastor Vice President of the ECVN (North) Phùng Quang Huyến welcomed the GCRA delegation.
During the reception, the Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà extended Easter greetings to the Church. He also exchanged with the hosts the upcoming election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and representatives to People’s Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 tenure.
On behalf of the ECVN (North), Pastor Phùng Quang Huyến expressed thanks to the GCRA for attention and support extended to Protestant organizations, including the ECVN (North). He said that the Easter celebration is an important festival of the Church in order to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
