The GCRA leader accompanied by Vice Chairman of Can Tho municipal religious committee Võ Ngọc Hà was welcomed by Bishop of Can Tho Stephanie Tri Bửu Thiên.

During the welcoming reception, Bishop Stephanie Tri Bửu Thiên briefly exchanged with the guests general information of Can Tho diocese and took the chance to thank state authorities for facilitating freedom of religion in general, and Catholicism in particular.

Speaking with the host, while extending Christmas greetings to Catholic dignitaries, deacons and followers of the diocese, Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng expressed hope that the diocese’s dignitaries and deacons would further encourage and guide local Catholics to upheld fine traditions for strengthening social unity and boosting socio-economic development in the locality.

The GCRA leader also visited St. Peter Đoàn Công Quý Major Seminary of Can Tho and extended Christmas and New Year greetings to the Catholic training institution.
