Government religious committee leader extends Tet visit to Protestant congregations in Lai Chau

Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Chiến Thắng paid visits to several Protestant congregations in the mountainous province of Lai Chau on February 2-3, ahead of Vietnam’s Traditional New Year (Tet) 2018.
The GCRA leader visited Chu Va 8 congregation under the Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church in the province’s Tam Duong district and Sin Suoi Ho congregation under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) in Phong Tho district.

While extending Tet greetings to the two Protestant communities in particular, and to all Protestant followers of the Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church and the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North), Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng spoke highly of unity and social activities for communal development by the two Protestant congregations.
The GCRA leader also expressed hope the Protestant congregations will further upholds fine traditions and make practical contributions to social development in the two localities.
