Government religious committee leader extends Easter greetings to Protestants in Tra Vinh

Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Trần Tấn Hùng paid a visit on March 29 to the representative committee of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) in Tra Vinh province ahead of Easter 2018.
The delegation was welcomed by Pastor Nguyễn Văn Điện and members of the Protestant representative committee.
During the visiting reception joint by Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Văn Tịnh, Vice Chairman Trần Tấn Hùng extended happy Easter wishes to pastors of the representative committee and local Protestants. He also expressed hope that the Protestant dignitaries would continue encouraging followers to actively join in social movements and programs for socio-economic development in the locality.
Pastor Nguyễn Văn Điện took the chance to thank the GCRA and local authorities for their support extended to religious practices of the Protestant Church in the locality.
