Government Religious Committee leader attends the funeral held for Priest Peter Nguyễn Công Danh

Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Tấn Hùng led a delegation on July 29 to attend the funeral held for Priest Chairman of the Vietnam Committee for Catholic Solidarity Peter Nguyễn Công Danh in Ho Chi Minh city’ Thi Nghe Parish.
At the funeral ceremony, Vice Chairman Trần Tấn Hùng expressed the deep condolences to all dignitaries and followers of Vietnam Catholic Church upon the death of the Priest and wrote his deep thoughts in the funeral book./.
Priest Peter Nguyễn Công Danh died on July 27 at the age of 81 in Thong Nhat Hospital, Ho Chi Minh city. He was born on September 13, 1935 in Luong Hoa commune, Long An province’ Ben Luc district. He was ordained as a priest on April 23, 1963 in Ho Chi Minh city./.
