A delegation from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tiến Trọng paid on May 8 a working visit in Ha Tinh province for inspecting the implementation of the State’s policies and laws on belief and religion in the province.

The delegation’s meeting with the People’s Committee of Ha Tinh saw the presence of Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hồng Lĩnh, Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Trần Nhật Tân, and representatives from the concerning provincial departments and agencies in the locality.
Ha Tinh province has currently two operative religions of Catholicism and Buddhism with over 192,000 followers. Over the past years, Ha Tinh government have paid due attention to the state administration on belief and religion and promptly resolve practical issues relating to belief and religion in accordance with the law.

The working meeting clarified issues raised by the inspection delegation, discussed difficulties in the implementation of the State’s policies and laws on belief and religion and proposed solutions to strengthen the state governance on belief & religion in the coming time
