Government religious committee inspects implementation of laws on belief and religion in Ca Mau

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) sent a delegation to Ca Mau province from September 4 to 7 to check the implementation of the State’s policies and laws on belief and religion in the province.  

During the working visit, the GCRA delegation had a meeting with provincial People’s Committee and met with local authorities of several districts to inspect the observance of laws relating to belief and religion.

 In addition, the delegation also visited the executive board of the Pure-Land Buddhist Association and several other religious establishments in the locality.

Ca Mau currently has six religious organizations of Buddhism, Protestantism, Catholicism, Caodaism, Hoa Hao Buddhism and the Pure-land Buddhist Association with 1,217 dignitaries, 370,000 followers and 135 worshipping places.
