Government Religious Committee holds year-end conference on trade union activities

The Trade Union of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held a conference to review its performance 2014 and approve working plans for 2015 on Jan. 8.

Attending the conference were Deputy Minister of Home Affairs cum Chairman of the GCRA Phạm Dũng; Vice Chairman of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà, Deputy Head of Trade Union of the Ministry of Home Affairs Nguyễn Thị Hà and representatives from the trade unions of the Committee.

During the conference, participants heard about the draft report and the proposed program for 2015. Overall, in 2014, the Trade Union of the GCRA carried out timely activities following the guidance and instructions of the Trade Union at higher levels and the Party Committee

As unanimously approved at the conference, the working plans for 2015 of the Trade Union of the GCRA would focus on some key tasks such as organizing conferences and meetings for union members for learning and implementation training of the directives and resolutions of the Party and the trade unions at higher levels; implementing activities towards celebration of 60th anniversary of the GCRA and state sector on religious affairs; promoting cultural and sport activities, social charities...

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Chairman of the GCRA highly appreciated efforts made by the Trade Union over the past year and stressed that in 2015, the Trade Union would further strengthen its coordination with other organizations of the GCRA for implementing the defined seven key tasks of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs in 2015.

On this occasion, the Trade Union of the GCRA presented a certificate of merit to seven organizations and 49 individuals for their outstanding achievements in trade union activities.
