The event was chaired by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn and attended by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Đặng Viết Thuần, representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of eight northern provinces of Thai Nguyen, Ha Giang, Bac Can, Yen Bai, Lai Chau, Lang Son, Lao Cai and Son La.

During the seminar, participating delegates discussed practices of belief in localities, roles of belief in the community life and its relation with religion and culture, impacts of belief practices on social security and order, and recommendations to the state administration on belief-related practices in the coming time.
