Attending the conference taking place in the provincial city of Dong Hoi were 150 key officials from concerning state sectors at provincial and district levels in the locality. Vice Chairman of Quang Binh provincial People’s Committee Trần Tiến Dũng attended the opening ceremony of the training and delivered the opening speech.

The three-day training focused on updated information on the current religious life in the country, state policies and laws, including the Law on Belief and Religious and its implementation guiding decree No 162, and key tasks of the state administration on religion.

The training participants also engaged in discussion of practical issues and experiences in the province, and took study tours to several religious establishments in the locality.
