Government religious committee holds Northern religious affairs training

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) opened a training conference on religious affairs for North region at a ceremony held in Thai Binh province on July 30.  

Present at the ceremony included Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Chiến Thắng, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Lê Khắc Thận, and over 300 participants who are heads of the home affairs departments in charge of religious affairs, leaders of provincial religious affairs committees, and officials tasked with religious affairs of departments and agencies from Northern provinces and cities.

The three-day training covers new contents of the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies on religion, current religious issues, professional skills for the state management on Buddhist affairs, Catholic affairs, Protestant affairs, etc.

The conference presenters included leaders of the GCRA, heads of the GCRA’s departments and homeland security department under the ministry of public security.
