Government Religious Committee holds national religious training

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) started a national training on state administration on religious affairs at an opening ceremony held on August 29 in Vietnam central city of Da Nang.

Attending the opening ceremony included Executive Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Bùi Thanh Hà, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People’s Committee Đặng Việt Dũng, and representatives of the provincial-level religious affairs committees across the country.

During the training, GCRA’s leaders presented topics on the state policy and law on religion, present religious life in the country, current issues relating the state governance on religious affairs including religion-related land issues, as well as the process of drafting the proposed law on belief and religion.

 Overview of religious training

The religious training aimed to enhance understanding on religion and State’s laws on religion, contributing to consistently implement the policy respecting and safeguarding people’s right to freedom of belief and religion, and promote fine values of belief and religion in the social life.
