The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on May 3-6 a religious affairs training in Da Nang city’s Hai Chau district for officials working in religious affairs sector across the country.
Attending the opening ceremony of the training included Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Chiến Thắng and over 100 officials working in provincial committees and offices for religious affairs and home affairs offices from districts of provinces and cities nationwide.
The four-day training focused on the State’s policies and laws on religion and the advocacy work toward religious dignitaries and followers, as well as practical issues involved the implementation of the law on belief and religion and its guiding decree No.162 after 3 months implementing the new religious law.
As reported, the event is part of a project approved by the Prime Minister for training officials and cadres tasked with religious affairs for the 2017-2022 period.
