The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on November 12 a meeting for appraising a project on the upgrade of the English version of the GCRA’s website.
Present at the meeting included Vice Chairwoman of the GCRA Trần Thị Minh Nga, representatives of GCRA’s departments and divisions.
The original English version of the GCRA’s website launched in 2013 aims to disseminate state policies and laws on religion & belief, the state management on belief & religion, and especially the GCRA’s external affairs and international relations, with readers are mainly foreigners and Vietnamese overseas. The English version of the website has been upgraded with new applications of information technology.
The new English version of the GCRA’s website would help readers with quick access to main contents of website, and a supportive function for people with disabilities, in accordance with regulations in the Decree 43 by the Government and the Circular 39 by the Ministry of Information And Communications.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Minh Nga spoke highly of efforts of the GCRA’s Information Center, as well as asked the information center to early complete the new English website based on the meeting’s comments in order to early replace the original version.
