The meeting was chaired by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn and attended by representatives from provincial committee for religious affairs of Northern and central provinces, Nghe An and Da Nang online newspaper and Vietnam news agency in Central and Central Highlands regions...

During the conference, participants discussed current situation of information and communication on belief and religion, exchanged on effective models and forms for religious information and communication in localities, as well as proposed solutions, coordination mechanism among departments, agencies, religious organizations, and the two-way information exchange between the central and local levels. The press agencies also shared experiences on communication methods and writing skills for improving efficiency of religious policy dissemination.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn highly praised participants’ comments and urged both press agencies and administrative authorities to promote information and communication on belief and religion and improve professional skills in order to enhance the effectiveness of State management on religion, ensure political stability and encourage religions to actively participate in the cause of building and defending the country
