The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on April 9 an exchange meeting on the performance of the GCRA’s religious publisher in releasing publications relating belief and religion.
The meeting presided by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Nguyễn Ánh Chức was attended by representatives from the Press – Publishing Department under the central Communication and Education Commission, the Printing and Publication Department under the Information and Communications Ministry, the Internal Political Security Department under the Public Security Ministry, and the Grassroots Culture Department under the Culture, Sports and Tourism Ministry.
During the meeting, Director of the GCRA’s religious publisher Nguyễn Hữu Có delivered a brief report on the operation of the publisher including difficulties and causes leading to the decline in the number of publications.

At the meeting, participants also gave several recommendations for overcoming remain issues of the religious publisher.

Addressing at the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức asked the GCRA’s religious publisher to renovate its working mechanism, enhance collaboration works with traditional partners, look for new partners, organize customer conferences, improving marketing services and establish a website for serving the digital publishing.
