Government religious committee holds legal workshop for key followers of Vietnam United Mission Church

As many as 250 pastors and deacons of the Vietnam United World Mission Church across the country have participated in a workshop on the Law on Belief and Religion held in the Central city of Da Nang on June 12-13.

The opening ceremony of the workshop organized by the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) also saw the attendance of Vice Chairman of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà, Chairman of Da Nang municipal Religious Committee Ngô Khôi and Pastor President of the Vietnam United World Mission Church Ân Ước.

Speaking the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà informed that the workshop aimed to guide the implementation of the new law on belief and religion and its guiding decree 162, given that the new law has many new contents compared with the previous legislation on religion.

During the workshop Pastor Ân Ước also took the chance to thank the government religious committee for organizing the workshop on the new religious law for pastors and deacons of the united mission church.
